A RAILWAY ADVENTURE INDEED

Sewing, drinking tea, eating cake sounds like my kind of protest! It's taking action in the loveliest of ways to say no to higher train fares that are set to rise to a whopping 31% in the next four years! Not very environmentally friendly because it will mean everyone will probably use cars if they have one as public transport is becoming extortionate! I completely agree with this lovely protest it's doing something positive and for a very good reason! After the lovely Hannah Bullivant asked me to illustrate the article I was more than happy to get my pens out and start rendering cherry bakewells and party rings! Pop over to Hannah's lovely blog to read her article, or read it on Amelia's Magazine with lovely illustrations by Faye West, Matilde De Sazio and Alison Day. You can get involved in the tea party action yourself at A Railway Adventure.
