I had to show you the latest collection of exquisite paintings from one of my favourite artists, Emily Martin of the Black Apple, based on one of my favourite stories Alice In Wonderland ♥ They're beautifully painted with love and the most apt attention to detail, look at the cake stand in The Mad Tea Party piece and the mischievous look on the Cheshire Cat's face. I adore the blushing roses in Still Life with Live Flowers and the adorable diamond pattern on Alice's vintage dress.

TEA TIMES ♥

I received a lovely package from Vanessa, who has a wonderful vegetarian blog full of amazing recipes she's kind enough to share. Vanessa ran an Alice In Wonderland tea competition featuring three Alice blends by Clipper and I was lucky enough to win these wonderful teas as prizes! I know plenty of people who would love the recipes Vanessa posts on her website including my sister who is vegetarian and sometimes struggles to find lovely veggie recipes! I've tried the basic vanilla and chocolate cupcakes and they are a delight and lovely with a cup of tea! ♥

THIS CHARMING GIRL ♥

This Charming Girl creates the most beautiful and bespoke vintage jewellery that looks like it's fallen out of Wonderland. There's cute kittens, adorable jumping rabbits, floral pendants to die for, pretty precious stones and lovely secret messages. I received this delightful Alice In Wonderland-esque I'm Late, I'm Late brooch from the lovelies at This Charming Girl as a prize for a twitter competition. It arrived super fast and came inside the most beautiful jewellery box with gold lettering adorning it. I am absolutely thrilled with it and wear it with navy cardigans, summer tea dresses and if the weather doesn't hold out my wool coat ♥

these are the illustrations i made based on the lovely Sheffield based fashion designers alice takes a trip for amelia's fashion compendium. claire and lauren middleton of alice take a trip have been kind enough to let me illustrate their enchanting and ethical fashion label, inspired by the endearing alice in wonderland, which features pretty dresses, bow adorned jumpers, t shirts and skirts, enchanting jewellery and accessories ♥photos belong to alice takes a trip ♥
