It's been over two months since our engagement and we've been busy decorating our house with floral wallpaper, vintage finds, lillies and a white vintage bed. We've been talking about wedding plans, ideas for the ceremony, flowers and playlists. It's all overwhelming but super lovely.

i know i've been going on about autumn and all its glory and loveliness but i do want to just stress how much i love florals especially in the autumn. this is because they don't have to be packed away into the depths of your wardrobe and left for all of Narnia to borrow over the colder months- they are there to be layered with cosy knits and lovely sweatshirts where they can peek out at the bottom.
so even in autumn i LOVE florals, pastel hair, cassie's mantras from skins, snuggling under blankets, tops with tigers on them, space.
we're also planning a secret trip to London. i really want to visit the V&A ♥

last days of summer ♥ ♥ ♥

it seems like summer is leaving us sort of one day at a time, the days are getting less hazy and have more of a chill, i've found myself pulling out flannel shirts from the depths of my wardrobes and hastily shoving on socks in the middle of the night. so i wanted to do a post all about the loveliness of summer, late summer and things that remind me of it & to sort of hold on to it for as long as i can before transcending into the prettiness of autumn, which i love don't get me wrong but am i ready to swap Pimm's for hot chocolate, to trade thin floral tea dresses for peter pan collar wool ones? (i could live with that, probably) i don't know yet.
