I wanted to do an illustration for the launch of Derek as it's such a heartfelt, unique and incredibly funny series and also I'm a massive fan of Ricky Gervais & Karl Pilkington (and Stephen Merchant! Their xfm days are amazing!!!) and entered it for an art contest the lovely @GervaisFanArt we're doing. I honestly didn't think anything would come of it as the other entries were so fantastic! But I got a tweet yesterday from Ricky saying that he loved it which made me super happy! Thanks to all your lovelies who have supported my work on Instagram & twitter it means the world to me!
If you haven't watched Derek already definitely do! There's nothing like it out there and it's amazing!
