BLOOD RED SHOES ♥

Wednesday I was woken up too early by our silly neighbours, I wish they'd be more considerate. Anyway the day went on, laundry and other chores and we were going to see Blood Red Shoes that night, they actually tweeted about a pair of tickets and I was lucky enough to win them so when we got there we were on the guestlist. We had lovely drinks and a really good night, I love the atmosphere and energy at gigs, especially ones at tiny venues. The band were awesome, (they made a lot of noise for only two people) as were their support THE CAST OF CHEERS who were super cool, they have some pretty amazing videos, they sort of remind me of videos by OK, GO! ♥

MINI ZINES, inspired by Marie Antoinette, Rachel Antonoff, paper dolls, daily drawings are all now in my etsy shop and looking for pretty bedrooms to live in ♥ and there's also the limited edition lovely book of excuses zine ♥ Hope you've all got lovely plans today, I've had a mini spring clean this morning, apart from my studio which is a little bit messy with pink paper & Disney cups, film soundtracks strewn everywhere so that needs to be sorted (but I'm so tired!), then later we're going to see Blood Red Shoes, date night! Can't fit the Avengers in today (boo!) so we're going next week but then Beauty and the Beast 3D comes out then! CLASH! Anyway, have a lovely Wednesday!

WHEN WE WAKE

Hello lovelies, well yesterday was rather lovely wasn't it! The sun came out so we thought it would be good to get some fresh air and sunshine. It was just nice to get out of the house and have a wander, I actually found some film soundtracks that I've been *hankering* (too much Big Bang Theory? thanks, Sheldon!) after, The Lost Boys was one of them, Romeo + Juliet vol.1 & vol.2, Kill Bill vol.1 & Moulin Rouge. We had lunch out, which we don't often do because of lack of pennies but sometimes it's just nice and you appreciate it when it's not very often. I exchanged an online order for these tan beauties and some really cute 'Oui' 'Non' earrings, I wanted to buy all the jewellery in Topshop & nail polish! ♥

Tomorrow we're going to see Blood Red Shoes, so it's something lovely to look forward to & possibly The Avengers before. We managed to get tickets for Ladyhawke too, who I love, her music is such an inspiration when I'm in my studio illustrating.
