MELANCHOLIA

Hello lovelies hope you're all having a sleepy Sunday wrapped in duvets listening to the rain. I thought I'd share with you some illustrated prints I'd had done which seemed to have a calm feel. I was flicking through some sketchbooks and can across a few pieces of art I thought would make lovely prints. They've turned out really well & they look so sweet hanging in little mismatches frames in our guest room (pictures to follow)

Since the days of summer seem to have disappeared I've reverted back to drinking Cath Kidston mugfuls of tea, with some victoria sponge- it all seemed to fit so well with the Jubilee parties going on all around us. Also, stickers are back in stock in my etsy shop! They are very summery and lovely, there's even a mermaid to keep you company and ice creams and summer dresses.

ARABELLA & LAVENDER mermaids

Arabella the tattooed mermaid and Lavender the dreamer with the magic mirror are two of my latest illustrations. I have been wishing to draw more mermaids as I was so obsessed with The Little Mermaid as a little girl and love the many personalities they hold. These are the first two of a series that I have been working on and will be published in a zine in the near future ♥

HELLO IT'S ME

So this week I've been very busy with illustrating, so excited to show you some snippets- which I will do when I get the mountain of drawings scanned in. I've been obsessing over NYLON, NYLON TV (my faves so far are Kate Nash on her knitted friends and dressing like a granny, James McAvoy cos he's lovely and he's very humbly sat on the stairs, Drew Barrymore because I love her, she's my favourite and Emma Stone cos she tells it like it is and is super funny), It's On with Alexa Chung- the most amusing one so far has been the Daniel Radcliffe one, Carey Mulligan, Castiel, making lists, pale violet hair, ruffles, satin, costumes in films, princesses, mermaids, castles, bubble baths and old mixtapes ♥

NEW ORIGINAL HAND DRAWN ILLUSTRATIONS are now moved in to my etsy shop, they're liking it there along with their new pink pals but they'd be much happier in a new home! These are limited edition and one of a kind, lovely for a gift or a pretty edition to brighten up your desk or bedroom ♥
