ARABELLA & LAVENDER mermaids

Arabella the tattooed mermaid and Lavender the dreamer with the magic mirror are two of my latest illustrations. I have been wishing to draw more mermaids as I was so obsessed with The Little Mermaid as a little girl and love the many personalities they hold. These are the first two of a series that I have been working on and will be published in a zine in the near future ♥

IT'S GETTING LATER ♥

Hope you're all having a lovely weekend! It's been a busy week again! I promise I will get round to posting some of the work I have been doing as well, the days just seem to get shorter- it will soon be cosy socks and hot chocolate weather!

The rain here has been absolutely non stop. Listening to it in the early hours of this morning made me think of Autumn, hot tea, thick wool tights, peter pan collar coats and foggy mornings. I know I shouldn't be wishing summer away, because I'll really miss it once it's gone. But I do love Autumn.

I will leave you with these pretty pictures that have inspired me to wear my hair loose and wavy or gently braided, tiny tattoos, the juiciest raspberries, hot tea and one of my favourite summer scents- Daisy by Marc Jacobs ♥

tattoo designs ♥

these are the tattoo designs i did for the super lovely Helz Woodrow, she was suuper nice about my exhibition i had up at uni where i'd hand drawn all these swear words and asked me if i'd want to design her a tattoo! so here it is to share with you lovelies! i'm still amazed that this is actually tattooed on her- permanently! so a massive thank you to Helz for being so lovely and liking my work this much!
