I illustrated a portrait of the super beaut Jaymie and her adorable kitty cat Gatsby, how sweet is he? Loving all the dresses worn by all the beauts at the Golden Globes, did you lovelies have any favourites? I adore Kaley Cuoco's floral gown, Jennifer Lawrence's simple but elegant attire, gorgeous sequin detailing on Zooey Deschanel's dress and the vibrant super girly number worn by Lena Dunham. I've started a collection of illustrations inspired by all these lovely ladies, including a few more and they may even appear in the shop.

Happy new year lovelies! I hope you all had a super lovely festive break and have some fun things planned for 2014. It's shaping up to be a pretty good year so far, with mini adventures to be had, lots of lovely illustrating work, wedding planning and fun times. I still need to find myself a good diary and calendar, I'm lost without them, although my phone and ipad (thanks Matt) make up for all the digital planning, there's nothing quite like pen & paper (or in my case pink paper and felt tips) 

I've been drinking lots of tea over Christmas, mainly in floral jumpers, visiting family, watching copious amounts of festive films and we had a LOTR marathon, fun drives listening to soundtracks, carrying lip balm everywhere, glitter and champagne

BABY IT'S COLD OUTSIDE

Hello lovelies, how is November treating you? I'm feeling really festive, wanting to burn cinnamon-y candles, bake mince pies for everyone (still haven't yet though, oops!), watch Christmas films although we haven't managed to do a whole lot of sparkly Christmas marathoning because we've been super busy making our living room pretty! Hurrah! Don't you love diy! I'm starting to fall out with it a bit but then you have a lovely new space and it's cool then.

I still have to track down an advent calendar! Have you lovelies got yours yet? I don't think you ever really grow out of that, is twenty-odd too old?! Nooo, I think while I still get asked for ID it's a perfect excuse for buying chocolate meant for children. What are you darlings most looking forward to over November/ December? Let me know, I love reading about everyone's plans & traditions!

I wanted to share something I've been working on lately, this Stoker illustration. Ever since I watched the film with Mia Wasikowska, Nicole Kidman & Matthew Goode I've been slightly obsessed with it, such a beautifully put together piece of cinema. India is such an intriguing character in her collared shirts with black and white shoes and yellow pencils which she carries around in a leather satchel. 

It is available to buy as an a4 print in my etsy shop and just a reminder that all a4 prints are currently 2 for 1.
